“can this computer run apex legends? also does it have an ethernet cable connection and some reviews here say that you should buy a "laptop cooler pad" should i for this computer?”

I have this laptop not sure what the hp team member was thinking but there is an ethernet port on here

A cooler is not essential but a flat surface is in order to allow the internal fans to work properly.

It will run Apex Legends just fine. It doesn't come with an Ethernet port, but you can either connect wirelessly or you can get an adapter that takes the Ethernet cable and connects to one of the USB ports. A cooling pad isn't required, but it's a good investment to keep the internal temperatures down.
