• Hi Doug, thank you for the question. Generally, the batteries will last 18 months to 2 years, although it's going to depend on what batteries are used and how much the keyboard and mouse are used. Heavy use will reduce their lifetime. The keyboard uses two AAA batteries, and the mouse uses one AA battery. Batteries are included.

• My mouse takes 2 each AAA batteries. They were included (as were the 2 for the keyboard, also AAA). Works good so far. No idea on how long they may last. Thy went in last night, and are still working today :)
