• The unit I received came with a plastic clip to lock the connection between the cord and the headset. I believe this is the updated version to correct the cord issues.

• The current Reverb edition has been fixed. You can tell by looking at the serial number. For the serial number, the typical format is to have the 4th, 5th, and 6th characters to reference when the product was built. The first character is the year date (Y) and the next two (WW), the week in that year it was made. CCSYWWZZZZ Those middle characters should begin with '9' are 930 or higher. It might look something like xxx939xxxx.

• Yes. The product identification number on the headsets will show ending in 200. The original does not and has been pulled from retail stores.
