Hello Tom and thank you for the question! The 2 years' worth of ink included, mentioned with the HP Smart Tank 7301 Wireless All-In-One Supertank Inkjet Printer, refers to the included bottles of refill ink in the package. This ink is estimated to last approximately 2 years of use based on the estimated average print volume of the printer, around 400 - 800 pages a month.

For example, I use mine heavily for work and my company has a huge amount of green in their logo and backgrounds. I print about 150 sheets a week and had to replace the yellow after 4 months due to all the green, about 6 months on both the cyan and black, and about 9 months on magenta. However, this is a significant savings on my old printer where I was blowing through cartridges every ) weeks. Not sure why it uses yellow faster than the cyan on making green unless the shade affects it somehow.
