Thank you for the question. The SSD is not soldered on, and can be switched out for one of more capacity. The RAM is soldered on, and officially not upgradeable except by a professional technician. However, due to the way the 12th generation processor handles RAM with performance cores and efficiency cores, you may not need to consider a RAM change.
