• You're asking two different questions and mixing them into one. If HP techs install the RAM and drive, your warranty will definitely be unaffected. If you do it, there is a POSSIBILITY that the warranty might be voided, but it is unlikely, since this is branded as a "gaming" laptop, AND vendors and manufacturers fully expect people to perform these activities.
