Is SSD or ram are expandable? null

You can expand the ram to 64gb if you wanted to. I'm currently at 32gb with 2x16gb installed. Upgrading the ram is a must.

Both answers are correct, though different. I checked a couple of sellers of RAM and the general consensus is that you max out at 64GB. The difference, I suspect, is that HP originally only aimed for a 16GB max, but it was later tested to allow for more.
