Don't know where YOU got your answer, but I looked at the Crucial website and found two different types of RAM that will work in this laptop: 1. DDR5-5600 • CL=46 • Non-ECC • SODIMM • 262-pins • 1.1V • 1Rx16 based • PC5-44800 2. DDR5-4800 • CL=40 • Non-ECC • SODIMM • 262-pins • 1.1V • 2Rx8 based • PC5-38400 These can be purchased in any combination of 8, 16, and 32GB that adds up to a maximum of 64GB, though matching pairs will work best.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for yoiur question about this HP Victus! The kit will not work with this not only because of the memory type and speed, but also the capacity. HP documentations lists the maximum supported memory at 16GB in a 2x8GB configuration.
