Sometimes you discover steps that others will take for granted, but you may not be aware of, like the necessity to remove the battery to access the RAM modules. Search "RAM" in Questions; I gave pretty detailed instructions that apply to any work being done on the inside of a computer. These will also help prevent your actions from producing a very pricey brick.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Technically, the only tool you actually need is a number 1 size philips screwdriver to remove the bottom panel. However, I HIGHLY recommend getting a sturdy plastic guitar pick (or a plastic tool like one) to pop the hidden clips in the panel. It makes it so much easier to get the panel and infinitely less likely to break or warp the bottom panel.
