Hello James and thank you for asking. The HP Victus 15-fb2063dx gaming laptop uses a single 8 GB DDR5-4800 RAM. If you need assistance with installing RAM, please contact HP Support. They can provide you with expert assistance.

Then press the power button a few times to discharge any remaining electric power. 3) Ground the computer and yourself using an anti-static mat and/or gloves and/or wrist strap. 4) The RAM module itself is held in place with two clips on either side. Gently push them into the "open" position. This will cause the stick to push up slightly (it is spring loaded). 5) Pull the stick out in a straight direction, following the angle on it. 6) Align the notch on the new module to the one on the laptop, then push it down gently to the motherboard. There should be a light "snap" sound when the springs fall into place and the module is firmly in place. If you don't hear this, or if the module is sticking out at all, repeat the procedure. 7) Replace everything in reverse order and power up the laptop. You should see the new memory (either in Task Master or using the "About" command. If you've done something wrong, you will either see no difference or the laptop will not turn on. Repeat all steps.

Also, websites that sell RAM will have a search function for specific models of any computer. A third way is just to open the computer, remove the installed RAM, then search using the information printed on the RAM.
