If there is an available slot, just add. No need to take old one out unless you plan on transferring whatever is in there to the new ssd.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are 2 - M.2 connectors on the motherboard. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you remove them. Make note of what generation of SSD can be installed in each connector. There is a copper bracket that covers both SSDs. Hope that helps.
