Are U sure the UBS connector is fully pushed in? It should go in with a 'thumb-type' push. If this isn't the problem, is the battery at the bottom of the mouse flashing red? If not, that's the problem. If it is flashing red, did U by chance drop the mouse? That's what caused me to replace my old mouse - too many 'hits' on the floor. If none of this works, take it back to Best Buy with your receipt as they have a 90 day guarantee on their products. Leon

Recheck battery power and proper placement, and try another USB port.

Is your battery installed correctly? What do you mean "it will not connect"? Does the light come on underneath the mouse itself? Did the mouse drivers install correctly? What type of system are you using it on? Need to know a liitle more in order to answer you correctly.

Have you rebooted your computer? Once you reboot, insert the USB connector that enables the mouse. Turn the mouse ON. Now, wait for the message to tell you it is connected. That's all there is to it. Good Luck!

I had a similar problem with my HP 3000 mouse.
After a couple months the laptop stopped reading the mouse. Even switching batteries did not help.
Probably a problem that you will have to return to resolve.

Try to use another USB port and try it again. Basically, it would not be required to install the driver for this mouse.

Disconnect the USB receiver and re connect, or try a different port.

Check the battery in the mouse and make sure it is turned on. If it has a good battery and is turned on try a different USB port or try it with a different computer.
