• Personally I think it's in between. I have a Logitech travel mouse that is smaller than the HP x3000, but it is definitely smaller than my Logitech desktop mouse.

• It's a full-size, full-function mouse, compact but solid and well-proportioned. The thoughtful design automatically puts fingers and palm exactly where they need to be.

• Desktop size with travel weight to it. It's sooooooo lite, that it cracked in half the first time my wife dropped it.

• Laptop travel mouse. Wouldn't recommend this one, as it doesn't track properly. Stopped and started as I moved the mouse around. Returning it soon.
