• You plug the usb thing in to the usb port on your computer. The mouse has the usb plug in piece in the battery compartment, so the first time you open it up, thats where youll find that piece.

• You just install the battery, plug in the little USB transmitter into a working USB port on your computer, switch the on/off button underneath the mouse to "on" position. That's it, should work immediately. hth

• You take the tiny little black thing that came with your mouse, and you plug it into one of the slots, probably, on the front of your processor somewhere...you may have to wait a few seconds, then your mouse will be corresponding with your computer :-)
