Hi Caldon -- Thanks for taking the time to reach out. The Hydrow Wave and Original Hydrow are pretty similar products and both are designed to mimic the real feel of rowing on the water. The big difference between the two machines is in the size of each rowing machine. The Hydrow Wave is smaller than the original Hydrow and is designed to fit better in smaller spaces. They both contain the same tech and electromagnetic resistance system, we just condensed everything we developed for the original Hydrow, into the more compact Hydrow Wave package.
