Does the 7.1 work on Xbox one? null

I don't believe so. The 7.1 Surround Chat mixer is connected via USB. Unless you have an adapter for a USB to a 3.5mm cable, it might be compatible. To my knowledge, the headset does work with Xbox but no without the chat mixer. A bit clunky because you can't mute yourself via the headset or adjust volume from the headset.
