It shouldn't as long as you have your sound / mic settings set correctly in the xbox settings.

It only has a small echo on xbox If your mic monitoring is up too high

I haven't had an echo but sometimes I cant hear my friends in the chat party on xbox

If you’re in a Xbox party then other people can hear an echo sometimes but if you’re using game chat they can not.
