“I just purchased this item and i have the pci-e 6 prong connector hanging off the graphics card the fan works and i plugged my hdmi into the graphics card and i get a picture do i need to worry about it?”

• No need to worry. There are two connectors on that line and as long as one is plugged into your graphics card, it is fine. The other one would be used for a SLI or Crossfire setup.
