My first thoughts that this computer was overpriced because it has an i7 processor as well as a Geforce 1060 graphics card and my thoughts were I could build the same thing for way cheaper, but boy was I wrong. I did a little more research and this computer has really good specs for the price. The mouse and keyboard that it comes with are so easy to use as well as responsive. I am very impressed with how fast this computer functions when doing absolutely anything such as turning on or turning off or when you are just trying to multitask for school. This was definitely worth the price you pay. I was so used to using just a basic graphics card for gaming as well as an i5 processor. This computer is basically 3-4 times as powerful as my previous one for only a few hundred more! I highly recommend!

This pc has been great for everything I needed, I was debating on building my own at the time, then I priced out the parts and found this tower was about $100 cheaper than if I were to build my own. The only gripe I have is that there isn’t much room for expansion (aio coolers, etc) it’s now living in a Corsair air 540 case

Great Machine, Great Price

This machine is outstanding considering the price. So far handles World of Warcraft like a champ, about 150fps fluctuating a little with all settings on ultra.
Now for the people "less technological", like myself, it doesn't come with integrated wifi. It doesn't have a CD/DVD ROM, but you can buy both in store fairly cheap.
A word about the lights (Smart Lighting System). This machine comes with a remote control for it. I did a lot of reading trying to install the software for it, brought it to the Geek-squad and still wasn't able to make it work. After contacting tech support for Ibuypower, I was informed that this system and the ones that bring the remote control do not use the downloaded software to use it. It works with the remote control only. Make sure the battery is in. Make sure you aim the remote to the front left side. You may need to play with the angle a bit. Also the keyboard lights stay on even after power down, so you need to turn off the PCU or battery back up.
Great system, quality parts, almost ready to play straight out of the box (may need a few updates, but that's done fairly quick), plenty of space for upgrades, lots of eye candy with the lights and tempered glass walls, that's right glass walls, this thing belongs in The Louvre, only it has the performance for any contact sport!!!
Enjoy!

This PC was my first new PC since I built my own PC a few years ago and it has outperformed in every way. I especially like that it had no bloat ware on it and I could personalize it how I wanted. It has great specs for the price point and I am encouragingly becoming a fan of Windows 10 even. The only down side is I cannot configure the light strip yet. That is a small issue only though. It is fast using the SSD and is an awesome central media player for my media files on the network on my reference audio system. I will to use this PC for years to come and even started playing World of Warcraft again as a result.

This PC is really good, if your looking for middle high range Gaming PC and dont have a lot of money this is a good option.
The light system is very nice you can change the colors to preference with a remote control that comes included
It has a keyboard and mouse and they are quite good
It hardly makes itself felt when it is lit.
It does not have DVD but comes with all the CDs of the graphic, motherboard and even Windows.
The sides are in glass which makes the tower quite heavy compared to other
In the subject of the games I still installing them, but I imagine it must be a marvel

Amazing Gaming Desktop

This is my first gaming desktop computer. (I've only had laptops) And, after a week of ownership my experience has gone beyond all of my expectations!
I currently have this monster connected to my TV, and I'm using USB extension cables so that I can game comfortably on my couch. So far, I've only had a chance to play Tomb Raider 2013, League of Legends, and War Thunder, but every game runs at MAX settings with much higher frame rates than 60fps. (normally +100 fps)
NOTE: This model DOES now come with a wifi adapter. It does work well if your desktop is in the same room as your router. I went ahead and bought a LYNKSYS AC1200 wifi adapter because I didn't think that this computer came with one in the box... but it does. Save the $60.00 and just use the one that iBuyPower provides you! (Unless you need the best of the best for gaming like me :)
The solid state hard drive is perfect for booting up the system in only a couple seconds, while the larger regular hard drive provides room to install large games and programs.
The case is BIG. This is great because the temps of the CPU and CPU rarely, is ever, go above 60 degrees Celsius.
Also, the lights on the tower are pretty neat too! It can display a variety of different colors... strobe effect... fade in effect... solid color. All of this is controlled by a remote control that is included. (You do need to be very close to the tower to control the lights though because the remote doesn't have a long range.)
This desktop is QUIET, even under extreme gaming conditions with the fans blowing near full speed.
All in all, I would have paid >$1500 for this type of gaming experience. $1050 or less is a steal.

Fast Machine

Let me get the 4 star review out of the way. This is a very fast machine as it should be, being an I7 with an SSD drive and 16 GB of DDR4 Memory and a 1060 graphics card.
Now, let's talk about what kept this from being a 5 star machine. It is not entirely the MFR's fault as I would have expected the sales staff to mention that not only does it not come with a CD/DVD player/burner, you can't even upgrade and purchase an internal drive because there is no slots to install a front loading optical drive. That almost caused me to return the unit because the reason that I did not care too much about it not coming with an optical drive is because I already had a nice Blu-Ray Burner that I intended to install after the unit arrived. The other problem I have and it does leave me a bit suspicious about just how new some of the on board components really are. I could not get my 5.1 surround speakers to work in any mode except 2 channel stereo, even though I selected 5.1. I went into the operating system and discovered that the driver for the Realtek audio was from 2013??? I then upgraded the driver to a 2016 version and the 5.1 started working. How do you have a 2013 driver version on a brand new Windows 10 based system?
Anyway, short story is this is a nice machine, very fast and as long as you upgrade the drivers you will be just fine. You can purchase an aftermarket external optical drive and plug it into a USB port.

I was looking for desktop during Christmas season, and this caught my eyes. All the components are good enough for not only gamer, but also for a programmer as I need a fast machine to compile and run applications, with some ability to test GPU shader code as well. I've spent about two weeks with this machine, and it almost fit all my needs except that it is hard to upgrade this one. There is no room for an internal DVD case, either for an extra SSD. As a gamer, you could install most games on the regular hard drive, and still get boost with windows system on SSD, but as more of a programmer, I need to install many application on my system drive (Visual Studio for instance, would take around 60G after installation) and there would be no much room left on the system drive and thus would slow down the performance of this machine. I would recommend it if you are a light gamer that want great performance and normal PC. If you are like me, need more room on system drive and a DVD just in case to use it, perhaps you can look for other model from IBuyPower, which I ended up with.

Very Nice With A Few Minor Drawbacks

I bought this desktop to replace an older one that finally died (motherboard I think). In addition to normal internet, spreadsheet, and word processing, I use this for video editing and voice overs and some gaming.
The installed I7-6700 processor, 16GB memory, and MSI GTX 1060 3GB GPU are more than sufficient for most of what I do. Not sure about heavy gaming, but I will be upgrading the installed card with an MSI GTX 1060 6GB Gaming X card.
There is plenty of space in the cabinet which should aid in ventilation. Both sides are tempered glass and are easy to remove and reinstall but with care because they are completely glass and a little heavy.
This desktop comes with very little bloatware -- a major plus!!
The installed 100gb ADATA SSD and 1TB WD Blue HDD may be sufficient for most but I have already swapped out the HDD for a 2TB SEAGATE model and plan to swap out the SSD for a larger and higher rated one as well.
There are a few minor drawbacks to consider:
Unlike most mid-tower gaming desktops, this one does not have front ventilation or an air intake fan, only a rear exhaust fan. There are ventilation grills top and bottom but a front fan would have definitely increased air flow. The CPU fan is the small stock INTEL fan, but so far is keeping the CPU at a reasonable temperature. GPU temperature will have to be controlled completely by the GPU itself.
There is no installed DVD drive, so an external USB 3.0 drive should be on the shopping list because there is still a need to install or game from DVD. I already had one so this was not an issue for me but it is amazing that so many desktops/laptops get severely down graded because someone did not notice that in the specs!!
There is no installed wireless card. A USB wireless adapter is provided that works fine but obviously uses up one of the USB 3.0 ports. For those who locate the desktop next to the router and connect via ETHERNET this is not an issue, but I am actually using mine wireless so I have ordered an ASUS wireless AC card. I need that USB port!!
The desktop has flashing LED lights that are controlled by a remote. My remote does not work but I suspect that it is because of a dead 3v (2025) battery. Going over to BB today to pick some new ones. The lights are a "neat" feature but I would like to turn them off once in awhile!!
Windows 10 is not activated. The product key is on a sticker on the back of the desktop. A bit of a pain to not have it already activated. Note that the first 8 characters of the product key are behind the scratch off "Microsoft."
Overall though I would recommend this desktop to anyone who wants to do some moderate gaming or heavy general processing. The installed components really provide a big bang for the buck and it does have a little bit of an upgrade capability. Just understand that you will need to buy an external DVD drive and possibly a wireless PCI-E card.
Since BB doesn't provide for editing reviews once posted, if anything changes I will post as a comment to the review.

Bought this for my teenage son who plays A LOT of computer games with his friends. This model is super fast, excellent graphics. Boots up very well. Special deal on price.
Only problem was the keyboard: defective control key and enter key. Best Buy says the only way to remedy is to return the entire PC and swap for another one. My son didn't want to do that, after all the setup process and down time. His friend bought the exact same model at the same time as us, and his keyboard also had 1 defective key. Also not crazy about the red light on keyboard - it's very bright, annoyingly red, and never turns off, not even after shut down. Only way is to unplug the keyboard from PC.
Best Buy should follow up on quality control from the manufacturer re: keyboard, and find a better way to remedy this without having us return the whole PC.

This computer has a great price, a great design and performs excellent for gaming and anything else. You can easily spend twice as much for the same specs. I first hesitated because it didn't have built in CD drive or WIFI. Then I realized, who need CD drives anymore? Not me. I did get a good external drive for only 30 bucks to install some old software I had on disk though. The computer also comes with a mini external WIFI adaptor that works great. As you can see these issues were not really issues.
I did have a couple of issues related to the guys that assembled this computer though. When I was setting it up it would go straight to the Asus bios screen and I couldn't get out of it. It turned out that the problem was that the SSD drive wasn't even connected. Once I connected it, it worked fine. Two of the thumb screws for one of the side panels were missing too. It took a lot of effort and time to get Ibuypower to send me the thumb screws which was frustrating.
The computer is great despite these problems. I do highly recommend it. Hopefully your computer will be properly assembled and have all the parts. Another thing I will mention is it comes with a great lighting system with a remote too. It's super cool.

I gotta say, I've spent a very long time researching before pulling the trigger on this purchase. I have looked at a variety of PC's from other competitors and ended up getting this PC due to its value. Here are my first impressions with the PC out of the box:
1) The setup process was fairly easy. Took about 20-30 minutes from scratch to get it going. Windows installation was seamless, although it took me a long time to find the product key which was at the back of the case.
2) OS boot up time is fast due to the SSD partition. This PC comes with SSD installed on the OS, as well as 1 TB of additional hard disk space.
3) The lights inside the PC is a nice perk to have. However the infrared remote control could be very unresponsive from time to time. Can't really tell why the problem is but not a big deal. I leave the lights on anyway. The whole case and lights look very cool and adds a touch to my workstation area.
4) The peripherals that comes with the PC is maybe the only down side of this purchase. Feels very cheap, keyboard is very loud and lacks style. Again not a huge deal since I'll be upgrading to Razer mouse/keyboard combination.
Overall, this was my first gaming PC purchase ever and I've been impressed to say the least with the performance of the PC so far. 300+ fps on CS Go. I haven't tried any other games yet but I'm sure it will run very smooth.

This is my first gaming desktop/ desktop purchase ever, so far its i
'm not having any problems with it, i read alot of reviews before purchasing this one and do mind that it needs an ethernet cable for internet or a wireless wifi adapter which i bought. Very easy to set up and i am very happy with this purchase and hopefully i wont need to upgrade the graphics card for a few years.
Overall, i can say its an excellent PC if your a first time buyer and really don't know alot about pc parts, i researched for almost half a day and i ended up purchasing this one. I was planning to build my own PC for the first time but when i saw the reviews, most of them said this is alot cheaper that building your own. Will be updating my post if i will have any problems within a month. :D

I looked around for a gaming pc so i can enjoy VR games. Then i saw that this PC was on sale for 950 , a great price . defiantly got my bang for my buck. This is a fast computer. love how it looks and how i can change the LED colors. i do wish it had 2 TB instead of 1 TB but for the price i can't complain. Also i can upgrade this if i want later on. One negative is that you do have to be close to PC with LED remote in order for it to change colors. also recommend to buy a bluetooth adapter since this does not bring bluetooth or cd/dvd.
If your looking for best prebuilt PC gaming performance under 1000 this PC is for you. it have intel i7 ,16 gb ram, and nvidia 1060 perfect for oculus rift and steam games.
When i bought this PC "BEST BUY" said i would receive watch dogs 2 game for free and kaspersky anti virus for 6 months in an e mail. I did not receive either( i checked my entire e mail, all folders and spam). i was really disappointed ,especially since now i have to buy the game myself. and funny how the best buy website said this pc brings "two free items" on dec 18 but now in dec 19 it says only 1 (not including watch dogs 2). that is why i gave this rating a 4 out of 5

I spent a lot of time trying to find the right computer. I'm a mild gamer and didn't want to spend a fortune on the high end gaming laptops. I got this one on sale and accounting for the price of getting the mouse and keyboard with it was a great deal! I could not be more happy with the performance. I run most games on medium to high graphics settings with no issues. Definitely recommend this PC.
