“The I7 processor has proven to be great thus far, however I'm curious as to whether I would be able to upgrade from i7 to the i9 in the future? Is it as simplie as swapping out the processors or would there be additional upgrades in order to install i9?”

• Yes, as long as the socket type is compatible - You should be able to use an i9 12th gen maybe older. But likely wont be able to use 13th gen unless they didn't change the socket type
