“Brand new TV and Alexa devices cannot pair (or even detect) Bluetooth from ILive speaker. Is there a button or something more to do to be able to get other devices to be able to discover iLive in pairing mode?”

Ant- The sound bar must be connected to your TV via cable. Unless your TV has a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver you will not be able to connect your sound bar via BT. You will need to go through your TV settings. Our Sound bars to not have the capability to connect to Alexa devices. The sound bar will play audio through the TV with the provide optical cable and you can pair your phone to the sound bar via BT and listen to music or videos you are streaming through your mobile device.
