My laptop doesn't travel much, mostly from the kitchen to a table on the deck. Never been dropped, always have it in a padded case when I have to take it somewhere. About 6 months in, it developed a chipped and cracked corner (it has been BABIED) and I couldn't figure out what happened. Another couple of months and the same chip/cracking started on the other front corner. Expensive lesson. I would not get this case again. I know how it's been treated and there was nothing done to it that would explain the random damage. I found loads of Amazon reviews of the case that mentioned the exact damage I have. It's a pretty but crappy case, in the end. I contacted the company, still no response, so there's also THAT. Mine is just over a year old now, but the chipping started much earlier.

I also don't transport mine around much at all but it still developed these cracks on top side near the hinge. It's a solid case and I really like the looks and how it form fits the computer, but it's not much on longevity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do transport mine but in a case, cracking started very small after about 2 months and now it is so bad I want a replacement. I called in case and they were very good. Sent out a warranty instruction email and they are going to replace it for me with only proof of purchase and photos necessary. I will let you know the outcome.
