“On this microwave, I am not sure how this +30/start functions,, My present microwave is 20 years old.... Can I just enter for example, 15 for 15 seconds? Just to heat something like a cup of coffee? Thanks...silly question possibly but.....lol”

Press cook time, then press 15 (or however many seconds needed to heat beverage) on keypad and then push start.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The +30/Start Function is essentially a shortcut. By pressing this button, the microwave will automatically run for 30 seconds. Additionally, there should be no restriction to simply manually adding your cook time. Hope this helps.

While cooking, if you press STOP/Cancel twice, your microwave stops cooking and cancels the cooking program. or Press Time Cook, then use the number pad to enter the cooking time that you want. For example, to enter 3 minutes and 15 seconds, press 3, 1, and then 5. Press Power, then enter the power level that you want (0-10). The default power level is 100% (PL10).
