• A:Answer I put the fridge in my semi. It works in cold temps, but some of my drinks got icy. So I wouldn't put produce or dairy in it. But drinks and snacks are okay.

Q: QuestionThere is a foam wrapping around a curved tube on the interior (bottom back of the fridge) tied with a zip tie. Should this be removed or kept on? If I choose to leave it on will it affect the operation of the fridge?

• A:Answer When I dont use it, I unplug it. Its in my semi which gets very hot and very cold. It works fine everytime I plug it back up. I don't put it back in the box or anything. I leave it where its at. I would box it up if I was storing it outside just to keep it clean and bug free to extend the life of the fridge

Q: QuestionIs the back of this unit closed? We looked at a similar unit, different brand and when we got it the bottom back was open to the inner workings. I was not comfortable hauling it back and forth to a college campus like that. Seems dangerous.
