“There is a foam wrapping around a curved tube on the interior (bottom back of the fridge) tied with a zip tie. Should this be removed or kept on? If I choose to leave it on will it affect the operation of the fridge?”

So I know this question is from 4 months ago however I took mine off both foam and zip ties and had no problems with the functionality of the fridge. I hope it's been working out for you.
