The unit came with the door hinges on the right, handle on the left as pictured. It does LOOK like it could be mounted the other way if it came unassembled as some appliance stores have but it comes in the box already assembled this way.

The door is reversible however they handle cannot be switched over to the other side. Therefore you reach at the top of the door and use it slot in the top of the door to open it
