So far we’re very pleased with the Insignia freezer. It works as described; we’re using it as a freezer. It’s larger in the inside than we thought, and we love having the drawer and sections on the door. You literally plug it in, wait half an hour...and your freezer is ready to go. Due to the pandemic, we’ve been stocking up on food and meals, and have made, vacuum-packed, and frozen meals for my daughter and her hubby, who just had a baby. So in addition to our back up stock, there are about 21 dinners stored in the freezer. I froze all the dinners flat, and then stacked them sideways in a file folder holder; worked great!

Excellent. can't even hear it kick on at all. The fact this beauty was on sale is a testament of itself. no hassle and the lock temperature/Quick freeze is great. Highly recommended

It is versatile. I can be used as a fridge or as a freezer. I am using it as a garage fridge. Large capacity. Low noise. Easy to setup. Working great.

Tons of space, Efficient cooling, and quiet! I love it so much (and I’ve had it a year) that I just had my mom buy the same one! We had a chest freezer before and just lost everything in the bottom of it. This make it so much easier to keep it organized!

Freezers are hard to get these days that are either sold-out or not within 250 miles from where I live. I had been trying to buy one for over 2 months. I kept checking and checking Bestbuy for one. The Insignia 13.8 Cu. Ft. Upright Convertible Freezer/Refrigerator finally showed up at my local Bestbuy and I was there to snatch me up a freezer finally. I like that it can be used as a freezer or refrigerator. I will be using it as a freezer...needed one to catch the overflow of frozen foods and meats after shopping. Also, in the near future, I'm going to buy a quarter cow for the freezer to use in the future...and to be prepared. What I like about this freezer. 1. Size 2. Deep Glass Shelves 3. A Decent Light 4. Freezes Quick 5. Alarm If Door Not Closed 6. Frost Free 7. Bought At A Decent Price! I've had the freezer for about a month and it freezes away with no problems. If you're looking for a good mid-size freezer...this is it.

First ever upright freezer after having chest freezers for years. Upright freezer make finding what you want much easier. No more digging around to the bottom. Everything is right infant of you. This is also spot on with the temp. I put in two different thermometers, one on bottom and one on top, both are showing the set temp exactly. And it is also frost free. No more messy thawing and defrosting. With 13.8 Cu Ft., this freezer has tons of room for food, a spacious drawer at the bottom and lots of storage in the door as well. Easy to keep foods organized and within easy reach. This freezer is garage ready which is where it stands. It is an outstanding value for the price and we give it 5 stars.

We absolutely love this appliance! It doubles as BOTH a full-size stand-alone refrigerator AND freezer in one stand-alone appliance.. What a great idea! And it’s big. You can fit as much (if not more) refrigerated food or frozen food in this appliance as your regular kitchen appliance. You have the option to go back and forth between using it as a refrigerator OR as a freezer. Just change the digital controls on the outside of the door! The digital control also has a feature to lock/unlock the settings that only you control. We keep this one in the basement as backup to store overflow or extra food that won’t fit in our regular built-in KitchenAid appliance in our kitchen. It’s a lifesaver, and even an energy saver. Ref

This refrigerator/Freezer is Awesome!! It comes with so much space. I love the front digital display. Making it easy and functional for the user! I also love the bright interior light. This is and outstanding upgrade from an original chest freezer! No more bending and having to take everything out to get what you’re looking for! I love the many adjustable shelves it comes with and the bottom pull out drawer! The stainless steel version adds so much class and elegancy to my kitchen! This is a definite must add to your home appliances! And is definitely worth every dollar spent! I’m thinking about adding another one to my home! 10/10 recommend

I bought this freezer to use for my home bakery and it's been perfect, I even bought a second one to use in fridge mode. Its quiet, spacious, and delivery was super easy both times.

This is a convertible freezer and it works perfectly in both modes. It is quite and perfect in my garage.

I've used one of these before and now have one of my own! Great value for a freezer of this size, and it keeps everything plenty cold. No complaints.

We've purchased many refrigerators and freezers from Best Buy and this Insignia convertible freezer is the best so far. It's very spacious and allows us to configure the shelves how we need them. Most of all, it's easy to operate (e.g., setting the temperature) and keeps food at the proper temperature. We keep our unit in the garage and it doesn't take up much space and looks good. I'd recommend this unit to anyone.

Bought Insignia 1.5 years ago. Installation perfect. Set at 10°. Freezes rock solid.Lighting great. Alarms if left open. LED lights are great. Illuminates all the time to show power is on. Garage ready to freezing temperature. Be careful as bottom shelf is glass. Like the drawer on the bottom. I use the rubber shelving material between all my frozen products.

I love this freezer so much it is the best it works well and it freezes everything it is very useful.

I purchased 2 of these upright freezers because I purchased half of a beef, lots of meat. I split it with my son and actually I have room to add more. One I thought was really cool, not only does it have a lock on it, but you can switch it from a freezer to a refrigerator setting!! Win win

I absolutely love this freezer. It stores a lot of food and looks classy. I can easily set it on any temperature. People have given lots of compliments about it.

This is a great convertible freezer/refrigerator. I actually did not realize it until after it was delivered. Fits perfectly in my garage and looks fantastic. Working great as well. It also let me know when the door was left open Inadvertently. The sales person that assisted me was awesome as well. Love it!!

Great buy! Fits perfectly, and not too bulky like some older deep freezers. The inside stores more food than initially thought it would, and shelves are deep! My wife loves it, especially because it can be used as a freezer or refrigerator.

This is my 2nd Insignia freezer and I am completely in love. We bought this one because our other smaller one died (or so we thought). There was actually a problem with our outlet and our original 6 year old Insignia still lives! We opted to keep it because we were going to get a bigger one eventually anyway. The design is very good. The shelves are very substantial and I do not see any bowing even with a large weight capacity. We put in a freezer thermometer to alert if there is an issue and keep track of the temperature. It really does keep it at the set temperature. You can see it slightly change in temperature when stocking it just by 3 or 4 degrees. My only dislike is how hard I have to pull to open the door but its definitely secure. The delivery team was amazing too. They followed instructions perfectly, as we have a special needs dog who is terrified of delivery drivers. They also were the ones to figure out that there was a problem with the outlet and unloaded my old fridge since it still worked. I don't always have positive experiences at Best Buy, so I was very pleasantly surprised by this experience!
