“When did this Insignia 13 gallon automatic trash can come out & manufactured? Curious if it's been out on the market if anyone has had any malfunctions? I have been using a plastic step open lid for over 13 yrs with no problem, would purchase if holdsup”

Mine may be malfunctioning after 1 week of use. The lid now only opens half-way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine stopped working after 10 months. The lid won’t open. Best Buy online said it was covered under 1 year warrantee and when I went to replace they said I could not. Stated I needed to contact manufacture. When I tried to reach manufacturer it refers me to Best Buy online.
