Nice but quality of key gear crap
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. It’s frustrating to have a nice trash can with a an awesome sensor feature and a quick, convenient bag holder that makes changing bags a breeze. However the sensor is too sensitive. You walk by and it scares you because it opens. Unfortunately if the lid gets stuck or someone sets even something light on top of the lid and it tries to open bc someone walked by it a mile Away (exaggerate some) it cracks this little gear thing. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART is junk. When it happened with mine I noticed it the lid started to not open as wide and then not open at all. At first I thought it was the battery but then upon investigating further I found the issue. It’s all because this small plastic part cracks where it sits around the metal shaft. The sensor triggers this shaft to spin and it’s supposed to turn this plastic piece, which opens the lid. Once it breaks the shaft just spins. I only paid $25 for this can so it’s not worth my time to fix, but I wanted to write the review to help the many i see face this same issue.. for those that want to try fixing it I’m sure it can be fixed with some sort ot apoxy, plastic Harding material or 3d print something.. maybe if enough people complain to the company about it they will provide a better piece instead of 8 cents they give us an upgraded one for 12 cents. Makes you wonder if the company does stupid things like this on purpose. I’ll try to add pics, but under here is where this part is. Hope it helps.

Sleek Trash Bin
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed.Modern sleek look. Had this for a year and still looks good. Automatic function works too well at times but you can turn it off. Make sure you put it in a place you dont pass through all the time or it will pop up which can be annoying but you get what you pay for. Its always ready to open for trash lol. Also it has an opening at the bottom for airflow.

One of my favorites
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I am loving this product....a hands free trash can lid...this one is also one of my favorites I got 2 of them but I wanna get 2 more and now my daughter wants one. With the little grandbabies coming around this is great and they love how the lid opens by it self as well even tho they think it's a toy. This was one of my best purchases because now the lid doesn't have to have a million hands all over it. If you have ever tested a germs theory try it put everyone's hands in your home in different colors of glitter and through the whole day see everything that has been touched by everyone when you see the glitter tracks everywhere you would be amazed....so this helps down the germs with less hands on it....thank you thank you thank you....

Works great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Love it! This trash works great. I bought black trash bags and they blend in with the top perfectly. It’s so nice not to have to touch the trash can to open the lid (especially when you’re cooking). Would recommend!!

Q: QuestionIs the trash can suppose to have openings in the bottom of the can? I just received mine, and was surprised that it didn’t have a solid bottom. Seems like if I get a leak in the trash bag, I will have a mess in the kitchen.
Asked by Crawfish.
- A:Answer Yes, I notice that too, when I received mine too. They should have made a piece that you can take out to clean if that should happen.

Q: QuestionDoes this trash can have a plug in option to plug into an outlet if you don’t want to use batteries?
Asked by Amazing.
- A:Answer No it is only battery operated. To be honest you don't need it hooked up to electric because it works great and for a long time on the batteries.

Q: QuestionDoes the lid close on it's own or do you touch it? I'd like to use this in a child care situation but have to have a completely NON Touch can for diapers.
Asked by Lisa.
- A:Answer Completely non touch operation. Only time you would need to touch is if you wanted to keep lid open for an extended amount of time & of course when you changing out the bag.
