However, the PlayStation 4 VR (PSVR) processor unit typically requires a power adapter that delivers 12V at 3A, which is significantly more power than the Insignia adapter can provide. Because of this, the Insignia adapter is not suitable for use with the PSVR, and attempting to use it could result in the device not functioning properly or potentially being damaged.
