“My freezer door not closing properly. The upper(top) hinge assembly tap that fits into the hole on the top part of the freezer door is a loose fit. I think I am missing a NYLON insert. Do you have any ideas what is wrong or missing.”

I think you are right about the insert. If you changed door directions look to see if fell out. I almost lost one when I changed door directions.
