• Yes works perfectly. I only have a firestick and have not had any issues.

• I have great success with a remote. I have no reason to think about a firestick since all my televisions are geared for a simple remote.

• A universal remote will work, no problem. Either the Isignia setting are part of the pre-programmed codes or it can learn them. The Firestick remote will control only the Power On/Off and Volume functions.
