“I have this Insignia 2.1 soundbar connected to an Insignia Fire TV (55"). I have paired the tv remote to the bar and it tests fine during setup (i.e. power on, power off, vol up vol dn). After paring done, the tv remote will not turn on the soundbar.”

• Are you using the original TV remote or Comcast? If it's Comcast, I will give you a pairing code that works.

• Use the Soundbar remote to control the Soundbar and use the TV remote to control the TV.
