• This soundbar should be compatible with all tv's. Our tv is a 2008 Panisonic. You connect the soundbar to a tv with either an optical cable (this is the best option) or the left, right (White/Red) cable & it works fine. All tv's have audio output connections. Use one.

• Yep. That's what I plugged it into. My Bravia required me to set it to external speaker. Once I did that, the speaker and the TV worked out the details on they're own. Works great!

• As long as your Sony has ports for connecting, it should work. the soundbar is not tied down to the TV brand
