• Hi, I thought I had the same issue, but when I investigated...I noticed the ice melted from the freezer section after changing the temperature. Eventually I cleaned it, and stop messing with the temperature selection. For the knocking sounds I don't think is unusual because...the refrigerator runs, and stop periodically. I hope it is not something more serious. I hope my experiences are helpful some how. Good luck. ED
