You MAY be able to use it in a vehicle, but you would need a 12v DC to 120v AC power inverter. But, a refrigerator uses more amps than a typical appliance so you'd need to shop accordingly.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I plug mine into a 120 Volt AC outlet. It has a 3 prong plug for a standard 120 V AC outlet. If you were going to try to use this with a 12 Volt DC system (like in a car), you would need a power inverter.
