Yes, there is a CP65 warning on the box. Don't worry about that, only long-term exposure will increase the risk and it can be avoided by reducing direct contact as much as possible. For more information, please visit: p65warnings.ca.gov/ David M. - Insignia Support

In California, I see Prop 65 warning signs at my bank and my garden nursery. So, it could be anything. I hope this helps.
