Just keep them in phase. If one wire has a marking then match them both up with either positive or negative. Keeping them in phase ( the same) is most important for sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.on solid color wires they are marked by ridges on the positive wire On clear wires there is a white stripe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Briefly touch your speaker terminals to a battery. When connected properly, the speaker cone will move outward.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Speaker wires are coded. Often one has a slight raised ridge and the other does not. Just be consistent and attach the same like sides to a positive or negative terminal at each end. Also, some wires may have a red stripe in one side. Still others, especially clear wires may have a slight tint in the clear plastic.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had almost same kind of problem. Use Red as your anchor color. Hope it will work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Red is positive, black is negative. Speaker wires sometimes have a black line running on one speaker wire only. That means that it's the negative. That one line can sometimes come in another color as well. Use a AA battery and play with the connections, Put one wire on the "+"side, and the other wire on the " - " side....if it makes a thump sound, then you found your positive and negative. If it makes a thump sound in the opposite direction, then it doesn't matter how you connect your wires.
