A:AnswerYou just need a RCA audio cable. Connect the cable to one of inputs on receiver (CD). Connect the other end to audio out plugs on the TV. Select the cd input on the remote and your done.

It took me 3 hours to connect this unit to as my central entertainment center hub, then the amp crashed.

A:AnswerNot the easiest thing to accomplish but it can be done. What you would need is a headphone jack splitter - so the male end good into the receiver and then it has two female ends on the other side. You would plug your headphones into one and a headphone-to-rca cable into the other one. Then you would need a set of speakers that could take input directly from the red/white RCA cable.
The other way would be to have two receivers. In this scenario you would split the output coming from the tv into two signals using a split RCA (one source to two sources) and connect these into each of the receivers. This way you could plug your headphones into one receiver and the speakers into the other receiver.
