The only button on the Fire TV Edition television is the Power/Input button and all other function is on the remote.

This isn't really a question that goes here buy really no place to put question. But really with all of today's technology you have to get up and turn tv Off?? why not put on and off button on remote??? Can you by a universal remote that will work with this??And you call this a smart tv??

Yes, it has the power on the tv itself and remote.

Power button is under the Insignia in middle of tv. The volume and all other controls are on the remote. You will have to read paperwork as most of buttons on remote are not even marked. I must say I don't like this new trend as I think most brands expect you to use voice command.
