“When traveling and my rental only has Smart TV capability, it is frustrating. Will this TV allow me to hook up to my Comcast cable and watch local and national networks live? I am really not interested in movies, delayed news broadcasts and old sitcoms.”

Hi Jerry, Yes it does. Press the channel up button until the TV shuts off on its own. When the TV turns itself off, press the 'Setup' button. Press the TV button using your Xfinity remote. Your Xfinity TV should now be successfully paired to your Insignia TV. Insignia Support Renee
