QuestionIf I only have one device plugged in will it get the full 24W (and thus charge faster), or is it limited to 12W per plug?

- Answer I have only used it to charge the one item so I can't say for sure but I did notice when I plugged my tablet into the top opening it seemed to charge even faster. This was subjective. Over all, my tablet is charging much more quickly & without the slow charging message I was getting before with a regular plug.

QuestionWill this work with apple iphone and ipad?

- Answer Yes it will, I charge 3 different iPhones (7, 8 Plus and 11) and 2 different iPads (7th gen and mini 5th gen) with this wall adapter (obviously only two at at time). Just make sure the cable you use is a USB A to lightning, or USB A to USB C (for the iPad Pros and new iPad Airs). The USB A is the part that plugs into the wall adapter and the other end goes into your device. Hope this answer helps!
