I don't see why not. Assuming your router and your TV both have Ethernet connectors, CAT 6 is the best cable you can buy (probably more than you really need even).

Yes. I use it between high-end PC (servers) and get 400MB/s throughput over gigabit ethernet LAN. AFAIK, most TVs are only 100Mb/s ethernet, which this cable handles easily.
