• This refrigerator can be placed in a garage as long as the ambient temperature is between 50°F (10°C) ~ 85°F (29.4°C) and you can plug this unit into a 3 prong receptacle wall outlet.

• That's what I did . It is in my garage and on the edge of a workbench and plugged into a wall socket.
