“How much weight can the lid support ? A moron contractor working in basement had 8 outlets from which to choose to plug in his drill & naturally he unplugged the deep-freeze on it's own circuit so I'll put things on the lid which wd. be a pain to move.”

I had a microwave and toaster oven on top of the lid without issue. It's a very sturdy design.
