When I saw the reviews I doubted that this little freezer would do the job. So I went to store saw floor model and suprised how much room 3.5 cubic has. For my 980 ft square house it's perfect and runs quiet. My kids laugh now because I eat a lot of ice cream bars now that the deep freezer actually freeze them hard like their suppose to. If you have a small living space I recommend it!

I got this out of the box nice price and it looks good runs great, a great fit for the small space that I had left in my kitchen if you don’t want to pay the full price I would keep checking back you will find one close to you that is out of the box GREAT BUY!!!

The Freezer is compact but held 2 weeks worth of cooked food in aluminum trays for our household of 5. Our regular Freezer had gone out and we needed an immediate substitute so that all the cooked food would not spoil. This was the answer. I was able to go to Best Buy and bring it right home in my 2017 Camry (I needed to put the back seats down). Amazing that this compact freezer kept things as solidly frozen as our upright freezer. Great buy!

This is a fantastic deep freezer! Enough room inside to accommodate for just 2 people with room to spare! Works great with no issues! Very very quiet! Cheap price, excellent quality! And with taking it out of the box, I fit it in the backseat of a VW Jetta!! 5 STARS!!!

I live in an apartment and needed extra freezer space to store breastmilk. This size is the perfect size for my apartment. I absolutely love this freezer and have no complaints. My only complaint is wanting a bigger apartment or place to get a bigger one! Lol

Wish I had bought it years ago, not only is it a great product (not to large, not to small) and you will save loads of money buying bulk and freezeing.

I have a small kitchen and this freezer is perfect in size for myself & my small animal! Fits many nuggers, hamburger meat, chicken, and sanity! Oh my!

In the last six months I've bought a few items from Best buy. (a remote control, a Netgear router, a Freezer, ect.) So far i have really been satisfied with all the items.

Bought one that wouldn’t turn on then the one I exchanged it for turned on but was all beat up. Needed it that day so wasn’t able to make another exchange. Wish I would have known it was beat up to get some money off but glad it worked. It is very quiet. Good amount of space. Hoping it lasts awhile. Good price if not damaged.

So, moving into a teeny tiny studio apartment with only a mini-fridge, I knew I was going to need to do something in order to keep frozen foods. I had almost no space to work with, and was afraid that the space inside a small freezer would be next to useless. Thankfully, I was proven wrong with this little freezer. I just brought home 10+ bags of frozen veggies, 3+ bags of frozen chicken and some frozen treats, and the freezer still looks nearly empty. Trust me, this thing is plenty big enough for a small family, much less one person. Not only does this freezer provide plenty of space, it's also super quiet and makes almost no difference in my electric bill. It was light weight enough to be carried by one decently strong person, though I would still recommend at least using a little cart if you'll be moving it very far. All in all, I 100% recommend this product.

I’ve own the Insignia 3.5 cubic foot chest freezer for some time now. If this freezer is the size you’re looking for I would strongly recommend purchasing it. Operation is very simple. The dial control doesn’t show a temperature but rather a min and max. I keep mine at about 1/3 and it’s cold enough to keep everything frozen in an un-air conditioned room all summer. While running, it hardly makes any noise. You do hear it when it’s running if you’re next to it but isn’t loud or annoying at all. The door always seals tight and has minimal frost forming around the top rim. The freezer is also surprisingly light. Overall it’s a simple, reliable freezer that I’d strongly recommend to anyone in the market for one.

I purchased this Insignia Deep Freezer for my older mother as a birthday present. Due to MY schedule, I'm only able to take her grocery shopping once every few weeks so we needed a great deep freezer large enough to hold all her food and small enough to fit in her already FULL BASEMENT! Well, I found those qualities and more in this chest freezer. I also love the fact that it is light weight, gets very cold, and comes with a small basket which allows my mom the ability to put certain foods aside for easy access! I am now considering purchasing one for my apartment as well!

I bought the Insignia 3.5 cu ft. chest freezer to store venison that I didn't have room for in my kitchen freezer. The freezer is lightweight, making it easy to carry into my basement and set up. I does a good job keeping the food frozen, and includes a basket to help organize the food. The freezer is not frost-free, so it does need to be emptied, unplugged, and defrosted once the frost gets to be 5-10 mm thick.

My daughter needed a freezer and we had to find an inexpensive one. I was a pleasant surprise to find this one and to find that it was not only the perfect size but inexpensive also was a huge bonus. It is quiet and works as advertised. In brief, this is an excellent buy if you need a great freezer for a limited amount of perishables!
