Q: QuestionIs the freezer frost free?
Asked by Marjorie.
- A:Answer No it is not but the ice buildup is very minimal. Mind you, I have only had mine for about a week. Wanted frost free but for a small secondary unit, I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars more for this feature.

Q: QuestionCan the freeze be plugged into the outlet my microwave is plugged in?
Asked by Dlmwood.
- A:Answer I have a freezer similar to this and it's plugged into the same outlet (which is a 20 amp circuit) as my microwave and they both work fine being on the same circuit. The back panel of my freezer says it draws a little bit more than 1 amp. (One amp is comparable to what a 100 watt light bulb will draw.) If your house is old, the circuit in your kitchen might be a 15 amp and if new, it would be a 20 amp, but in either case, I doubt your microwave would draw much more than 5 amps... So with your total amperage draw of 6 amps, the answer is, YES! You're all set!

Q: QuestionCan it be transported on its side?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, it can be transported on its side or back. Let it stand upright 24 hours before you plug it in and start it up, to allow the refrigerant to flow back down to where it's supposed to be. Best Buy employees told me I could move it that way, and appliance delivery people at a different big box store told me the same when I was comparison shopping. Just be sure to leave it sit upright 24 hours afterward. I moved mine lying down and it runs fine, Bought it in late summer 2017 and it's running fine in March 2018. *Note that all these smaller freezers imported from China use isopentane or some other *flammable* refrigerant in them. Move it carefully to avoid damaging anything.*

Q: QuestionIs this product in good shape and will they deliver to my address with no coast and what will I pay for this product and how long will it take for me to receive it.
Asked by Milecat48.
- A:Answer Check with your local Best Buy regarding delivery timing. Item doesn't qualify for free delivery...purchase must be $399 or more for free delivery. We purchased our 3.5 Insignia chest freezer the second week of January at a sale price of $120. Regular price is $150. They have a Haier for $135. We had the store clerk take it out of the box and we laid it on the back seat of our midsize 4 door sedan. Husband was able to load/unload by himself. Just used a very lightweight fold up dolly to move into position rather than drag into place. Hope this helps. We are very happy with our purchase.
