Can the device switch automatically to the port of the device that is powered up? Or will it only switch manually? Because of my set up, the splitter/switch will be at the rear of a cabinet, and reaching in to switch devices manually would be a pain. null

I've always had to manually switch it. I don't think it will automatically go to the powered device. So if you get this you would want it accessible. They do make others that have remotes, but this is not one of them.
