• Yes the speakers are stereo, but not surround sound. as long as the signal coming to the TV is broadcast in stereo, which most stations are now, you will hear stereo on the TV. the sound isn't bad for a TV of this size and price, but it's not going to be room-filling on its own. you'd be better off with a soundbar if you wanted that kind of sound.
