Yes it does have HDMI. You pay for the streaming services you want. There are a couple that are free.

Fire tv acts like a app for the TV to allow it to get Wi-Fi and stream off other company apps (like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ etc). So, you download each app and yes you have to have a subscription to each that this want to use. If you had a fire stick/Roku before, it just out that capability inside the tv so you don’t have to have something extra plugged in.
